Death is but a window
To a world we left behind
And once again it opens
Our heart there we will find

A place of peace and wisdom
Connected to all life
Forgiving our transgressions
Releasing all past strife

For once we are connected
To every living thing
Our heart just like the Phoenix
Takes rise again to sing

All life has a cycle
A beginning and an end
Death is the beginning
A journey to ascend

We entered in the world
With wonder and with glee
Meeting friends and partners
To live and love so free

Once we have accomplished
All that we had planned
We journey through the window
Forsaking life’s demands

We laughed, we cried, we loved, we lost
But all this just to learn
Death is an illusion
To home we now return
